mental re-hear-sal - An exercise that prepares the mind for success by practicing physical marks to be accomplished. ![]() Although leading Staff to change can appear to be difficult, the reality is that the change process can be simple and predictable. The key is understanding the process the human brain follows when processing unfamiliar situations. The Catalyst Staff Process follows a specific track, enabling personal growth to be consistent, predictable, reproducible and simple. This process has four unique and distinct behaviors. 1. Clear Goals The staff process is based on two foundations.
2. Mental Rehearsal Staff are probably not aware of the fact that they mentally rehearse every aspect of their life on a daily basis. It is called the imagination. Unfortunately, default human nature is to rehearse the "bad" stuff much more readily than the "good" stuff. The Catalyst process works with staff to identify what they rehearse, and proactively rehearse the positive change. 3. Self-Talk Everyone talks to themselves. The fact is, we will listen to ourselves more than anyone else, which means our self-talk carries more weight than what is said by others. The Catalyst Process provides staff a practical way to change the "tape" they play all day and replace it with a positive protection-oriented approach to their daily responsibilities. 4. Fear Control Stress is an emotional response to feeling out of control. Fear is the most natural emotion that follows. As staff learn to get in control of their world, stress is replaced by positive behavior.
