dis-cov-ery - Finding out or ascertaining something previously unknown or unrecognized

The key to agency growth is not mysterious, simply often undiscovered. The Catalyst Process for Management begins by exploring the needs, goals and solutions needed to increase revenue.

The benefit of a defined process is the fact that agency management understands where they are, where they have come from and where they are going; reducing the fear of uncertainty and failure.

1. Discovery

The process of Discovery begins by identifying clear, plain English statements of problems and challenges that stand in the way of agency growth. These statements are used to establish a clear understanding of the needs, constraints and expectations for change. This information forms the basis of future change, and ensures that time, energy and resources are not wasted on distractions.

Discovery also creates a Resource Assessment that includes skills, resources and ideas currently available. This assessment is also used to identify skills, resources and ideas that will be needed. Identify stakeholders.

2. Development

The Development process identifies options for resolving the challenges and needs established in Discovery. Solutions are explored and defined in plain English terms as they relate to specific areas of change. Ideas that do not fit a defined challenge is recorded and filed for later use. In this way, focus is maintained.

3. Implementation

With a clear understanding of needs and resources, a roll-out plan is created so that all stakeholders are on the same page and working together for the same goal in the same way.

4. Maintenance

The final step in the process is creating a plan for sustainability.
